Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need KYC to order a VPS?
No. Skhron does not require government ID, driver's license, selfie or any other documentation to order or use our services. You can sign up and pay without identity verification.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept popular cryptocurrencies, including but not limited to Bitcoin and Lightning, Bitcoin Cash, Monero, Tron and USDC, as well as traditional payment methods including bank cards issued by Visa, Mastercard or SEPA bank transfers. Cryptocurrency payments are processed through our self-hosted, non-custodial payment processor without third-parties involvement.
What IPv6 prefix size is included?
Every VPS includes a routed /64 IPv6 prefix at no extra cost. A routed /56 prefix is available free of charge upon request. Unlike many providers, we offer routed prefixes to help you avoid quirks like NAT or ndppd.
Can I install a custom operating system?
Yes. All our VPS plans support custom ISO mounting directly from the control panel. You can install any operating system from an external URL without contacting support.
What is your uptime SLA?
We offer a 99.95% uptime SLA with generous SLA credits. Our measured network uptime is 99.99%. Details are in our Service Level Agreement.
Where are your servers located?
Currently we have two locations: Warsaw, Poland and Stockholm, Sweden. Both sites use owned enterprise-grade hardware with proper redundancy.
Do you offer BGP sessions?
Yes. We provide free BGP sessions for all our customers. This is ideal for network hobbyists and enterprise customers who want to announce their own IP prefixes. Contact our technical support for setup details. Please note that provision is manual.
Do you provide automated reverse DNS / PTR management?
Yes. The server control panel we use – VirtFusion – supports this natively.
Do you allow mailing/SMTP? Is port 25/tcp open?
Yes. Unlike some providers we have unconditionally unblocked inbound 25/tcp port for your SMTP server hosting needs. Please note that outgoing 25/tcp is restricted due to strict anti-spam policies, which are covered in our Terms of Service.
